Hi, I’m Parker!

I studied Animation before moving into Psychology, and that's the part of my background that actually shows up in the work. Psychology taught me why some designs are easy to sit with and others just tire people out. Why one brand voice makes someone feel spoken to, and another one makes them feel sold to.

Accessible design came out of that. It's most of what I actually think about when I'm working, contrast, font choice, how much information you're asking someone to hold in their head at once. Small decisions, but they're the difference between content someone can use and content that just looks nice in a mockup.

That's what Manx Studios runs on. Brand strategy, copywriting, content systems, built for people who want their business to sound sharp without making anyone work harder than they need to just to understand it.

I still draw, still run DnD campaigns, still spend more time with tarot cards than is probably useful for a business owner to admit. None of that's part of the studio. It's just still part of me.

3 things that don’t change,

project to project

01

strategy before words

I won't write a single line until I know who's reading it and what they're supposed to do next. Skipping that step is how you end up with content that's polished and pointless.

02

Accessible by default

Contrast, hierarchy, and plain language aren't a separate pass at the end. They're built in from the first draft, because content that only works for some readers isn't finished.

Straight Answers

If a strategy isn't going to work, or I'm not the right person for the job, I'll say so. You get real feedback, not a sales pitch dressed up as advice.
